歴史家ワークショップでは、外国語で簡潔に研究のエッセンスを発表するイベント、Research Showcase を2016年より継続して開催しています。発表・質疑応答をすべて外国語で行うことで、発表者・参加者の双方が外国語で学術的なコミュニケーションを実践できる場をつくっています。
第14回となる今回は前回と同じくオンライン（Zoom）で、2021年11月9日と10日に2日間にわたって開催いたします。ひろく歴史分野に携わる研究者から発表を募った結果、中世から現代まで、非常に多岐にわたるトピックの報告が集まりました。当日は、Nathan Hopson先生（ベルゲン大学／近現代日本史・科学史）と谷本雅之先生（東京大学／近代日本史・経済史）をコメンテーターにお迎えし、本会特任研究員の古川萌（東京大学／イタリア近世史・ルネサンス美術史）、横江良祐（東京大学／イギリス近現代史・医学史）が運営を務めます。英語での質疑応答スキルの向上、また学際的・国際的交流をめざす全ての歴史研究者の参加をお待ちしております！
