歴史家ワークショップでは、外国語で簡潔に研究のエッセンスを発表するイベント、Research Showcase を2016年より継続して開催しています。発表・質疑応答をすべて外国語で行うことで、発表者・参加者の双方が外国語で学術的なコミュニケーションを実践できる場をつくっています。
第19回となる今回は、2024年7月19日（金）14:00（日本標準時）から、東京大学の本郷キャンパスにて、対面とオンラインの両方で参加が可能なハイブリッド形式で開催いたします。ひろく歴史分野に携わる研究者から発表を募った結果、古代から現代まで、非常に多岐にわたるトピックの報告が集まりました。当日は、コメンテーターとしてヒロ・ヒライ先生（歴史家ワークショップ特任准教授／ルネサンス学）とサマンサ・ランダウ先生（東京大学グローバルコミュニケーション研究センター特任准教授／英米文学）をお迎えし、本会特任研究員の鈴木路子（歴史家ワークショップ特任研究員／日本近現代史）、平井正人（歴史家ワークショップ特任研究員／科学史）が運営を務めます。英語での質疑応答スキルの向上、また学際的・国際的交流をめざす全ての歴史研究者の参加をお待ちしております！
